If you’re expecting a cookie-cutter President’s Corner, you’re in the wrong place. I don’t do “routine.” I’ll change my route to work just because, swap my glasses or hair for the sake of variety, and refuse to accept that anything is ever truly “done.”
I was born in Texas, raised in California, and left 20 years ago for Arizona, where I now live with my wife of 20 years and our four kids (12 to 18). I’ve worked in our family business, ATI Restoration, since I was a teenager, alongside my two brothers and my dad. I’m triple Master IICRC-certified and hold CMP, CR, and WLS RIA credentials. Today, I lead ATI strategically in M&A, industry relations, and the RIA (which, honestly, takes more time than my “day job”).
I’ve always been a challenger. I push for better, even when it makes people nervous. I used to be more rogue and blunt; these days, I’m more strategic and polished, maybe from age, maybe from my grey hair. Losing more than 160 pounds gave me a new level of confidence and a renewed commitment to give back to contractors, the RIA, and yes, the broader claims ecosystem.
My focus until 2027:
- Advocacy: Fight “right-to-cancel” laws, secure official trade codes, and protect contractors from unfair practices.
- Carrier Relations: Strengthen SLAs, speed up payment timelines, improve communication.
- Pricing Software: Push for pricing data that meets market realities with Verisk and Cotality, launch quarterly claims data.
- TPA Accountability: Build the TPA Scorecard into a must-watch benchmark.
- Member Value: Deliver position statements, vendor discounts, education, and
impactful regional events.
I’m here to make the RIA impossible to ignore. No coasting, no filler — just progress.

Jeff Moore is a second-generation restorer and the 2025 President of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) as well as President of ATI Restoration. He started in the family business as a teenager, organizing the warehouse and working his way through nearly every role – from technician and estimator to executive leadership. Licensed in asbestos at 18, Jeff has managed major loss projects from 9/11 to today and brings hands-on insight into mitigation, construction, and large-loss operations. He lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife, Tavia, and their four children – Tyler, London, Savannah, and Phoenix.
