Prism Specialty Restoration of Southeast Michigan today announced the appointment of David De La Torre as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
De La Torre brings decades of restoration industry experience, proven sales and business leadership, and a strong track record of driving revenue growth and building lasting customer relationships. With extensive knowledge of Prism’s business, its customers, its people and the industries it serves, De La Torre brings the leadership and experience needed to guide the company confidently into its next chapter.
Throughout his career, De La Torre has demonstrated an ability to identify opportunities, build business, strengthen customer partnerships and produce results. His experience spans sales strategy, business development, revenue generation, customer relationships and organizational leadership, giving him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to successfully lead and grow the company.
As CEO, De La Torre will lead the strategic direction of Prism Specialty Restoration of Southeast Michigan with a focus on strong leadership, accountability, sustainable growth, customer partnership and operational excellence. His deep understanding of both the business and the restoration industry positions him to build on Prism’s strengths while identifying new opportunities for the future.

De La Torre has spent more than 25 years working alongside Prism founder and owner Lee Capatina, gaining firsthand experience in the development and growth of the business while being mentored by Capatina throughout his career. Combined with De La Torre’s own proven business success, that experience has given him a unique understanding of Prism’s history, operations, customer relationships and future opportunities.

De La Torre assumes the CEO role with a clear focus on the future. His leadership will center on strengthening Prism’s position within the restoration industry, developing its people, expanding customer and industry partnerships, pursuing strategic growth opportunities and ensuring the organization continues to deliver the level of service its customers expect.
