New Commercial-Focused Structure Positions Members for Accelerated Growth

CORE Group, a national leader in property restoration networks and large-loss solutions, today announced a major strategic expansion of its commercial restoration initiatives. This expansion reflects the organization’s sharpened focus on helping member companies grow through increased commercial opportunities, national partnerships, and unified large-loss response capabilities.

As commercial property losses continue to rise in both volume and complexity, CORE is advancing a comprehensive plan to strengthen its national commercial restoration infrastructure, enhance member readiness, and deliver a more coordinated, high-performing response on commercial jobs across the country. This next phase of growth includes new operational frameworks, expanded commercial service offerings, and the formation of a dedicated leadership structure to support commercial clients and drive member success.

“As our industry evolves, commercial work represents one of the greatest growth opportunities for restoration contractors,” said Matt Hensley, president of CORE Group. “CORE is investing heavily in the systems, leadership, and national resources necessary to help our members win more commercial work—and perform at the highest level once they do. This expansion is a direct reflection of our commitment to helping contractors grow stronger, more competitive, and more capable than ever.”

CORE’s renewed commercial strategy will include:

  • Enhanced Commercial Response Team (CRT) structure with improved deployment, standardization, and oversight.
  • Updated commercial qualification and readiness requirements to ensure consistent job execution nationwide.
New commercial reporting, communication, and operational frameworks for speed, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Expanded national account development focused on commercial verticals such as hospitality, healthcare, retail, multi-family, education, and real estate portfolios.
Growth-focused training and member capability assessments launching in early 2026.

As part of this expanded commitment, CORE has appointed Diane Ramos to a new leadership role as the National Director of Commercial Accounts. Ramos, a long-standing leader within CORE and industry veteran, will guide the rollout of the enhanced commercial platform and ensure CORE members are equipped to meet rising commercial demand. She is tasked with advancing strategy, strengthening client partnerships, and coordinating national response operations.

“Diane has been instrumental in building CORE’s culture, processes, and performance standards,” said CORE CEO Dan Cassara. “Her leadership will help ensure our members are not only ready for commercial work—but positioned to become the best commercial contractors in their markets.”

These initiatives are designed to provide member contractors with more frequent commercial opportunities, deeper support, and the ability to confidently pursue larger, more complex work with the backing of a national network.
