Q: They say talk is cheap, but it feels expensive when thinking about selling?

JT says: Yes, talk can be cheap, especially when there’s no follow through.  I’ve worked with business owners for 25+ years, some love to talk about what they’re going to do, and others execute.

It feels good to announce plans to business associates, friends, even consultants. (Science proves we get a dopamine hit when we do.)  However, this isn’t action… it’s still just words.  Many don’t execute because it simply doesn’t feel good-  there’s uncertainty, discomfort and possibly risk.

What’s the ultimate accountability?  Taking action.

As owners, we ask questions surrounding anything we don’t understand or when clarity is needed to proceed with confidence.  Especially when your retirement (i.e.- big money) is involved.

  • Need to understand the road ahead?
  • Looking for your best options?
  • Seeking to understand the process?
  • Wanting to maximize business value?

You are 100% correct, talk is cheap.  Taking action changes everything by giving you control.

According to JT, “You’ll probably do this only once in your life… let’s do it right.”
