Why are Buyers Telling Me What My Business is Worth?

Q: Why are buyers telling me what my business is worth?

Our goal is to reach restoration owners before you do.”

JT says:  Two buyers have recently stated this.  Logic indicates a simple value assessment or scanning a code, created by a buyer, is not sound business advice.  (This doesn’t even work when selling a used vehicle, let alone your business!)

Their strategy is clear…

  1. To buy your business for less than it’s worth.
  2. Your business value, deal structure and overall interests are NOT their focus.

These assessments do not account for

  • Necessary business adjustments that increase value.
  • Necessary personal adjustments that increase value.
  • Over a dozen other variables, many of which increase value!

They do NOT want you to know this.

Your business is worth more once you do.

The right buyer will certainly pay what you’re worth.
