ABC: Construction Job Openings Plunge By 51,000 in July

WASHINGTON, Sept. 4—The construction industry had 248,000 job openings on the last day of July, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey. FTC Non-Compete Ban Blocked: What’s Next?

On August 21, 2024, a federal judge in Texas has blocked the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) rule that would have banned employers from requiring non-compete agreements for their employees.
